Celebrate the New Year in a dazzling outdoor concert as part of Miami Beach OnStage! with incredible talent from the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival Orchestra featuring famed soprano Eglise Guttiérez and MMF Alumni artists. Enjoy the marvels of our full orchestra as we fill Lummus Park with a program of traditional New Year’s concert music, including your favorite Viennese waltzes, combined with Latin Zarzuela and Broadway favorites.

In addition to the talents of Eglise Guttiérez, an all-star lineup of soloists from our MMF Alumni and Pre-College Divisions led by our Artistic Director and founder, Maestro Michael Rossi will enchant audiences in this can't-miss performance.

This performance is FREE and open to the public. Don’t forget your blankets and beach chairs to comfortably enjoy this family-friendly concert.

EGLISE GUTIERREZ

With an impressive international career as a coloratura soprano, Cuban-American Eglise Gutiérrez has sung many of the most important leading roles and solo vocal parts of the international Opera and Classical repertoire. She has performed in some of the most prestigious venues of the world, sharing the stage with some of the most internationally acclaimed opera singers, conductors, and orchestras.

Ms. Gutiérrez has toured and recorded extensively around the world, sharing the stage with internationally acclaimed artists such as tenor Andrea Bocelli (US Tour,) Roberto Alagna, and Juan Diego Florez; she has performed under the baton of conductors James Conlon, Sir Mark Elder, Bertrand de Billy, Richard Bonynge, John Rutter, Edoardo Müller, Eve Queller, and Daniel Oren, backed by symphony orchestras such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Opera Orchestra of New York.

SIOBHAN CRONIN, VIOLINIST

Siobhan Cronin, classically trained violinist, performs regularly with internationally recognized artists and touring shows, including the Trans Siberian Orchestra, Michael Bublé, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Earth Wind & Fire, Ricky Martin, Disturbed, Katharine McPhee, Sarah McLachlan, Rod Stewart, and Il Volo. She has performed with Tony Award winning singer and actress, Audra McDonald, as well as Grammy award-winning American classical pianist, Emanuel Ax. In 2016, she performed in concert with Placido Domingo, as well as renowned Wagnerian soprano Christine Goerke. In January of 2017, Siobhan was invited to join the Cinematic Rock/Metal band, Starset, as their touring violinist. Since 2017 she has done several extensive world tours where she performed in venues across the United States, Europe, Russia, and Japan and internationally recognized festivals such as the Download Festival in the UK and Rock Am Ring in Germany. She will be joining them again in the fall for another North American tour.
