Mozart’s opera The Marriage of Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro It’s a madcap comedy resembling an upstairs-downstairs “reality show”. The Countess wants the Count, the Count wants Susanna, Susanna wants Figaro, Figaro wants everyone to come to their senses and Cherubino wants just about anybody.
Passion and indiscretion abound in this great classic of class and power in which true love finally wins out, but only after many delightful entanglements, disguises and overheard conversations in a grand household near Seville.
